I started my garden yesterday! It is a small one, but we’ve got 2 rows of okra, 2 rows of cauliflower and 1 row of mix between them both. It would be so darn cool if everything decides to grow! I’ve never had much luck with gardens, but if I can grow a succulent, maybe I can manage to grow a garden. I have plant food which should help it along. I can’t use plant food on the cauliflower until it is 3 inches tall.

Once it is pickable, I’m going to make steamed cauliflower and lots of fried okra!

I just remembered that for the longest of times, there was a jar of okra in the back of my fridge. I remember it being there for as long as I can remember, until I was about 10... we eventually threw it out, thank heavens.

I discovered that I have a miniature bonsai kit. I think I'll try and grow the bonsai now. :D
The oldest plant I've ever had was a cactus, but eventually it died, probably of over-watering. :p
